Our Story
Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favorite. Here's how it all began...
The Beginning
September 2020
It all started at Boiling Pho, my mom's Vietnamese restaurant. I was the manager at the time, handling the day-to-day operations, hiring staff, and making sure everything ran smoothly. Little did I know that one Facebook message would change my entire life.
The Message
September 2020
She messaged me on Facebook about the job opening. The moment I saw her profile picture, I thought she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. My heart skipped a beat. I knew right then I had to meet her.
The Interview
September 2020
I called her in for an interview, trying to act professional while my heart was racing. In my mind, she was already hired the moment she walked through the door — but I didn't tell her that. I wanted to spend more time talking to her, getting to know her. Every smile she gave made me fall a little harder.
The Question
December 12, 2020
Three months of working together, stolen glances, and growing feelings. Then came my family's wedding. I may have had a bit too much to drink, but liquid courage led me to the most important moment of my life. In my closet of all places, I asked her to be my girlfriend. It wasn't the most romantic setting, but it was perfectly us.
Moving In Together
2021
She moved in with me at my parents' house. Living under the same roof, we learned each other's quirks, habits, and rhythms. Late night talks turned into early morning coffees. Almost a year of building our foundation, growing together, and dreaming of what could be.
Our First Home
2022
We took the leap and got our own place — The Vic at Interpose on Washington. Our first real home together. I was working for my brother's nursery, and I pushed her to chase her dreams. She enrolled in school to become a lash technician. Watching her work towards her goals made me fall in love with her all over again.
Growing Together
2022 - 2023
She got her certificate and started her journey as a lash technician. I couldn't have been more proud. We supported each other through every challenge, celebrated every victory, and faced every obstacle hand in hand. This is what partnership looks like.

Present & Forever
Five years later, here we are. From a Facebook message to building a life together. Our story is still being written, and I can't wait to see what the next chapter holds. One thing I know for certain — I want to spend every chapter with you.
